About Artist

50 years ago I did some turning using lathes in the woodshop where I was teaching. That ended when I started teaching machine tool.

Life got busy until we moved to Prescott Valley 4 years ago. My wife and I went to the art fair on the square in Prescott and my interest was again sparked while visiting with PAW members there. I had my wife’s father’s Shopsmith and began using it. I’ve since retired that and bought two other lathes.

My main interest is bowls but I’ve also done pens and ornaments.
