Steve Friedman is a dedicated and passionate woodturner originally from Massachusetts, now proudly calling Arizona home. Steve is retired from the United States Air Force and has lived in Arizona for the past five years.

With a lifetime of experience in woodworking, Steve discovered woodturning six years ago and quickly developed a deep appreciation for the craft. Since then, he has been committed to growing his skills and exploring new techniques at the lathe.

Steve continues to expand his knowledge by attending woodturning classes at Yavapai College, where he enjoys hands-on learning and connecting with other makers. He is also an active member of Prescott Area Woodturners, having joined in November 2022.

A lifelong learner, Steve values the opportunity to learn from experienced mentors and fellow turners. His enthusiasm for the craft and willingness to grow make him a valued part of the woodturning community.
