No mistakes, just design opportunities…
Ken has done woodworking for most of his life but started woodturning in 2015 with no prior lathe experience. With no woodturners in his local area at that time, Ken made projects from woodturning books, watched videos, learned from his mistakes and progressively improved his skills. After moving to Arizona, Ken has enjoyed the camaraderie of many talented, friendly and helpful members of the Prescott Area Woodturners who have helped him significantly improve his turning and embellishing skills.
Ken does not have a signature style (yet) because he enjoys trying all types of woodturning projects. He wants to try them all and there are many he has not yet attempted! Discovery of the natural beauty hidden within each piece of wood is a joy and he strives to make each piece as beautiful as possible so others can appreciate the natural beauty hidden within trees.
