Heidi DeFazio

Heidi is a Woodturning artist who is passionate about her faith and enjoys it’s representation in her art. She is a long time Arizona resident with Midwestern roots. As a child, Heidi was inspired by the sights and smells of her grandfather’s woodworking shop where she enjoyed spending time. Faith was a strong influence in her life.

After life circumstances gave way, and her life turned upside down; Heidi had a renewal of faith. It was not long after, that she returned to the desire for creating beauty from wood, in the same ways as her savior. With the encouragement of friends and family, she began displaying her faith through her woodturning. The pieces gained a great deal of attention and propelled her into a desire to share her love for the Lord with others through her love of woodturning.
