I first got interested in Woodworking in the 50’s. My Dad and I would make doll furniture, wooden toys and did projects around the house. I took a Woodworking Class in Junior High and learned to use a lathe and other shop tools. Woodworking became my passion. I continued Woodworking all through High School which led me to a career in Construction.

After40 years of running my own Construction company, I retired in 2017 and returned to my passion of Woodworking. I joined the Robson Ranch Woodworkers and served as President for 2 years. There I had access to an array of the finest high end tools. I
am very fortunate now to have fine tools in my own shop here in Prescott Valley where I can create interesting things of all kinds. I am constantly inspired by watching videos of artisans on YouTube and other media. I enjoy trying new techniques and methods, which I learn from them and the talented members of the Prescott Area Woodturners.
